September 2016 UDI Deadline Looms for Medical Device Manufacturers

PRINT2D provides UDI label verification program.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has set September 24, 2016 as the third key compliance date in the UDI final rule. This rule, when fully implemented, will adequately identify medical devices through their distribution and use. The label of most devices will include a unique device identifier (UDI) in human and machine-readable form.
